I'm in the market for a 28 Cig.SS or an OS. Preferably in the mid 70's to mid 80's years. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks

Well, would love to sell mine, however over the winter Ive managed to get some new irons in the fire right so Im gonna keep my 28 for a few more years.

Hey, why don't you buy a new one?...Banana Boat has just opened up again and they are making the 28SS from the molds they bought from Cigarette in the 70's!
They have an announcement in the Banana Boat Forum.

yeah...that boat was the most fun boat i have ever owned too! Maintenance free! I redid the boat from top to bottom...but the only thing i regret is that i did not actually paint the bottom when i had the boat sprayed with imron... other than that...new interior, new dash, new motors, new drives, new rubrail, NEW EVERYTHING! I was real pleased with the way it came out.

I took that boat on a 4 day trip from Hampton Bays, NY to Block Island and then to Newport Rhode Island and then to Montauk, NY and back to Hampton Bays...What fun trip and the boat didn't skip a beat.

I have a 1973 28 Cig SS. Farely new engines and drives. Still have warrenties on both which are transferable. Boat is in great shape. Parnel's old boat!

it's a great boat! if i could have 2 boats i would definetly keep it. time for something a little bigger and faster.

Up in my neck of the woods, been on sale for over 6 months, however from earlier pics from trader mag, looks like a clean boat-from his earlier notes has tried to keep it original.
I would be happy to check out for an OSO member if interested.
