Has anyone used those keel protectors??

On their Cigs to protect the bottom when beaching?? I'm thinking of putting one on. Since my Gun isn't a complete rocket I'm not worried about loosing a MPH :drink:

Not so gay when you're trying to get your boat to the party....W/out damaging the bottom :rolleyes: What else would you recommend??
