Battery Charger/Inverter

Question on '87 Cafe Battery Charger/Inverter. I know when hooked up to shore power the battery charger will operate. Is this also an inverter for the 110v plug and will I be able to use the 110v when not using shore power? I don't have a manual for the boat. The box states "battery charger/inverter" on it.

No.I believe the boat has to be plugged into shore power to use the outlet.
