The boat has been financed (actually refied 2 times) and insured for years. Neither the bank or the finance people ever blinked an eyebrow.
For the record, the blocks DO have serial numbers, they merely have X's thru some of the digits so that no dealers would be able to double dip and try to warranty the motors for a new one through Merc again. The motors were boght in a "lot" that included about 14 HP-500's, several Bull-Dogs and one Big Chief open class motor. |
