I have a '97 top gun with 502 mpi's with cool fuel. I also have 2 fuel pump switches on my dash. I just realized that my fuel pumps still work if these switches are off. I have been told that these switches are not tied into my stock fuel pump circuit and are only there in case I ever want to install additional fuel pumps. My info comes from a good source so I'm pretty sure it's correct. Can anyone confirm this ?
Thanks-

That is correct. The wiring is all in place just in case you need extra fuel pumps for bigger motors. Or you could use them as prime pumps if you wanted.
