Is this for real? Can I get some specifics like...

What year?

What model?

Is a trailer included for the $39,900?

Please send info and pics to: [email protected]

Thanks!

Clay,
I'm not sure if you got a response yet or not, but it's a 35' '78 Mistress and it does have a trailer. I'm not sure what TMP has done with the motors or drives, but it did have TRS's. I hate to see it sold, but that's a helluva deal for somebody.

James

No, it was too heavy and too much money.

How much does it weigh?[/QUOTE]

Around 10,500. It should run about 65 or so on GPS. The boat is beautiful. The cabin interior is original Cigarette with all of the teak and eveything. The cockpit interior was replaced in 2000 when it was repainted, all new Gaffrig gauges then too. I have some pictures I can send if you like.

The last ones. The graphics were painted by Chuck Germond whom no longer does any painting. All of the paint is PPG Delta with Graffiti clear.

WOW! That is definitely an "old school" cabin and helm, but I like it! :D

Re: hurricane katrina forces me to sell the cig

Clay, I can vouch for the boat while Stalkin' had it and it wasn't sold that long ago. Kept covered and on a lift. Never put away dirty. Beautiful older Cig. I haven't seen it up close lately but we saw it at the Emerald Coast and from 50 - 60' it still looked spotless.

thanks for all the help guys we just got electricity & back on the internet. i'm still getting paid as of right now. we are cleaning up the dealership (we had 6ft of water & several inches of mud) & plan to reopen soon. i'm the shop foreman & lead technician. i'm concerned we won't have enough business to support my pay check. family has to come before fun so to be responsible i'm selling the cig. right now over half the people in my town (slidell) don't halve houses or jobs. slidell is a bedroom community & the majority of residents worked in new orleans. thanks for all the help. right now we are financially ok i just want to be prepared if things don't work out. mike
p.s. 6ft of salt water & mud will really f up a tool box!!

Re: hurricane katrina forces me to sell the cig

Ease up a little, Joe. No one wants to see Vette lose his Cig. We were just responding to Clay's questions about the boat. I can understand where Vette is at right now (somewhat). I lost my job due to totally different circumstances 10 years ago. I liquidated EVERYTHING except essentials. Harley, new truck, wife's new Maxima, Mod-VP STV and many more things - all gone. The only thing we had was a house note. It takes a lot of pressure off if you aren't having to worry about paying notes on toys each month. It's ultimately Vette's choice but I would be glad to help either way. If he still wants to sell her or if he decides to try and keep her. Let us know Vette. Our prayers are with you.

Re: hurricane katrina forces me to sell the cig

Mike,
If you are interested in making a move out to the left coast, I can set you up with interviews at several dealerships-Good techs are 'GOLD' out here also.
If interested, I am in the Northern California area, but also have many connections in the Bay Area -From Fresno up to way past Sacramento California. I am involved with the european lines but many colleagues have Ford operations.
P.M. if interested and I can line up some interviews.
God bless you and your family

WOAH! I didn't mean to cause such an uproar. I'm not some scumbag looking to take advantage of someone down on his luck. I'm just boat shopping!

I'm currently looking for another truck. I'm gonna trade in my 2004 Chevy 1/2 ton for a 2005 Chevy 3/4 ton. After that I'm gonna get serious!

Re: hurricane katrina forces me to sell the cig

thanks guys so far i'm still getting paid by the dealership. it's
been very hectic lately. i'm trying to inventory & order tools &
equipment for the ford store & the nissan store we have next door. i just want to be ready if things don't work out. thanks for the job offers, you never know when it may be necessary.
don't believe alot of what you see on t.v. our area has a lot of hard working white people. several businesses are opening
every day. housing is the biggest problem, thank god our house is ok.
