I don't understand why they would take out the engines and then try to sell it....Seems like it would be easier to sell a boat with motors.

Maybe not, I probably would have been better off buying mine without motors and then having some built for it. Would have been cheaper in the long run. :rolleyes:

The boat was for sale with a pair of Gellner 1100HP Blower motors all sumer. No bites. The owner just bought a Tiger, so I'd guess he has a use for the power.

This boat has a lot of racing history. Craig Barrie raced it all over the world. Great boat.

On the 90 white comes downt he center of the deck then down the hull sides before the fairing.

The boat is currently FOR SALE without power. The power I built for the boat are 572 cu.in. SC 1100 Horsepower with very low boost (5 PSI ). We have seen over 100 - 105 MPH with that set up. :rolleyes: Engines have not even been unleashed yet. If you would like a quote on power I would be happy to assist you in any set up you would like. craig/old school is selling a sweet 93gun with 1200hp sonny lenard motrs with 20 hours on em and #sixes for 129k i think fat boy is cool but hes 20 or 25k over priced. i might make an offer later this year if he doesn't sell it. im looking to sell my mistress and trade up when i get my blower motors this winter. i saw the article on it. i bet that red paint is a biotch in the summer heat. super man is a red cig that has been for sale for a looong time. i think the red paint hurts em. what color was the boat and what was it called when craig barrie raced it? does anyone have pis of it from back then.

Ratman, the 2 boats you are talking about are side by side set up, this a staggered, one of 6 built custom TG. That price is not bad, for what you are getting, price out 2 new #5's and a new myco. Staggered boats are sweet, the superman boat has been for sale for years.

Yeah .... this aint your typical TG ...lots of history ...has all the "right stuff" ... If you are looking for a B/A hot rod Cig. .... this one works pretty good !

Personally, I like red and love this boat. I couldn't care less about the race history of the thing but the benefit is that it's built to take a beating.

I agree. Obviously lake Cumberland has no desire to sell that Superman boat or the other #6 TG that they have! :eek: :D

The staggered Top Gun (90mph paint) that was at Marina One was a '95 I believe. It had big chief power and white #6's. Does anyone know for sure if it was in the building on the west side of federal highway?

The Top Gun with the 90 MPH paint and 6's I think was from down there but I don't think they were staggered. I remember seeing pictures of it from the key west poker run.

Talked to the owner a few minutes ago, hes waiting to hear back from Tom...he was in the older building second from the top.

craig i love your boat...its stunning and the sixes are the chit, fantastic paint. im putting one of my houses on the market in the next few weeks...i'll be looking to buy yours when i sell the house if you still have it. have you found someting else your interested in?

Your right Doug, it is a side by side. I saw it down in Key West as well. Beautiful boat, I sure hope it made it. :(
