Alexander's 38 T/S (all white) is as nice as any out there on the market. We've run with him a few times. He built it brand new and it has been maintained with an open checkbook. I thought you were looking for a straight bottom Tiger....now a T/S......hhhhm

Did you forget about the big hole that was in the side???
I seen it happen in St Pete a few years back!!

Re: info on these?

Alexander's boat is still a nice boat with or whithout the damage. As long as it was fixed properly, then I personally wouldn't shy away. It is a proven boat that has several hours on it since the damage. That is the nice thing about fiberglass....it can be repaired. The price is discounted enough to warrant a close look if you are interested.

Are we talking about the White one for 250K ? I was thinking that boat was about 50k too high...if it's had hull damage ,OMG, It's worth even much less than that.

dreamer- what's your price range?

Taz- have there been any '03 T/S TG's w/ 575's that have sold for $200K?

Alexanders boat is really nice! It was fixed properly and the hole wasn't as big as the internet says it was. Everyone acts like the entire side of the boat was ripped off, flipped, sank, and exploded upon hitting the bottom of the ocean. :D The boat is just as good as any other one but is doomed because of internet chatter. Oh and it's all white, which is pimp! :drink:

i see. i was just curious......i thought i would keep it in mind since you seem to be more open with your "planned purchases" than most people.

TSG & JBK pretty much summed it up. Fiberglass is fiberglass and it can be repaired. Knowing Alexander it was done by the best.

Also for price...I don't think it's that far out of range, he is ASKING $250k. Most 03's are going for $230-$260k and I know he is motivated to sell. If you're a real buyer call him up and make an offer and don't sit on the computer saying it's to much.

Tazz-I don't know how long you've been looking for a Top Gun T/S, but you'll find that there aren't many deals out there. If you want a one you have to step up to the plate.

My $.02

Guys... You can't tell me an 03 is worth 230-260, hell you can buy an 05 for just under 300, with a 30-50k Dave Hunter paint job ,and the difference is night and day. The 05 interior is in a completely different league, as is the 525's are way more desireable than say 500's or 575's. Not to mention the boat we're talking about dosent have ITS, or paint, The lack of paint alone must be at least a 20k deduct by itseft.

Re: info on these?

go with #2... deal with Craig. 1 has animal's a big no no..3 even if it repaired right you must deduct for previous damage. i would look for corrosion, it seems all saltwater boats are perfect until you look for your self. no offence to you salt water guys. it just easier to maintain a fresh water boat. IMO.

Why pay 20k for someone else's used paint job. I take white and buy my own. Hell, looks cool all white. NK

Jeff's boat is a very cool option, i should know. Plus it's mostly white !
The TS Gun could be a very nice boat and as long as the repairs are done correctly then yes they can be a permanent fix- check for any existing damage as it could be a very good deal.
I guess I'm nuts cause i kinda like the Tiger paint ! , that i'd trade for...

My boat was fixed at the factory, and if you didn't know where the damage was, you couldn't find it. The damage was above the water line and in between the bulk heads.

Also the boat just had both Stelling boxes rebuildt, Both Gimbals redone with Imco rings and the drives rebuilt.

I am open to reasonable offers.
