Lab'd or Not (TS 525's w/ ITS)

I have 32 Bravo's. I was considering labbing them but have heard it might not help. Who's done it (and who lab'd them) and what were your results on a T/S with ITS, sptmstrs & 525's?

I have a brand new pair of 28 5 blade bravos.
Then have been labbed and will fit shorty driives.

I also have a pair of 32 (non-lab'd) Hydro 5 blades, if anyone's interested in trying to swap with me.

Kind of... Couple of winter projects:
1) trying to find out why, when launching the boat from the ramp, we're having problems getting the water from the lake and into the engines (I've posted a thread about the - for other T/S owners who have similar problems - no answer yet). I have to give the engines throttle when starting to get water to flow - hence making the engines too rich and having plug problems (merc. specifically states, no throttle until 100 degrees - engine is in "choke" mode. Next step is removing the appx. 12" vertical (that it seems all the T/S's have) that flows from the hose where it connects to this metal "uprise" and then into the strainer. Last thought will be the MM strainers aren't sealing and we'll replace them.
2)putting in an upgraded GPS.
3)installing a set of prop holders (thanks Fred) for my extra set
4)generally, looking for ANYTHING to tinker on to help pass the darn cold winter!!!
5)new springs and checking engine etc... (250 hrs and don't want any problems during the middle of next season).

*But I will give her a run if I can get my hands on a set of lab'd 34's (to see the difference from my non-lab'd 32's).

Yes, currently @ 5300 - but, looking for more mid-range w/out loosing the top.

tried them to.. not labbed.. gave me 2mph cruise, lost 5mph top end. also shifted very hard... a little slip can be your friend.

I can't afford them right now. How much top end would they give +2mph?

Slip is not all bad maybe.

for me the cruise speed went up 5mph @ 3000rpm 6-8 mph @ 3500 + 2-3 top end a little slow to plane (no difuser ring) BT told me a difuser ring helps planning. they are the way to go. IMO. i have the 5 blade alittle over 8% slip :D

It's ok... You know - there's a guy in our office that wanted a promotion so bad that nearly every in office exec. meeting we'd have he'd find one reason or another to poke his head in.

So don't worry... When you're ready to step up, we'll be glad to bring you into the Cig Forum. :blaster:

Customryder,

Sorry for the delayed reply (got distracted on another project). Yes, I do! As soon as we button her back up I'll give you a call.

FYI - As previously stated (in several posts I've seen), the brillo pads work MUCH better than the SOS re: cleaning lowers! Don't get me wrong... it still isn't fun to do!!! :(
