Boats with 6's & Set up strait hull
I have heard that the Cigarettes that had 6's and speedmasters on them from the factory had a different angle to the transom than the bravo boats.
Is this true? Also I know the strait hulls don't like extension boxes. Can a boat be set up to run with them for a conversion to Konrads and not be way off on balance or is the only option to move the engines forward to get the CG back? |

I too have heard that the conventional hull #6 boats had a different angle to their transoms. I've heard it from more than 1 person, so I would love to know that as well. Chad |

My '96 had 12" boxes and ran pretty damn good.......
Of course the engines were done by Chief so maybe Tommy worked a little magic. |

Here is a link to a thread that I started a while ago, trying to find out just how many straight-bottom TG's there are out there with #6 drives. You may find it interesting. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...d.php?t=105643 |
