20 Cig stuff needed
 

I bought a complete basket case...needs everything, but is structurally sound. good stringers, transom and decks...and thats about it!

Most of the hardware is there, but one of the round hatch latches is missing...anyone know where I might find a new or used one?

I tried Phil at Lip Ship seeing as he just finished Lil Maximus, but I guess he threw all of the old parts out when he deleted the front locker...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to try and keep this thing as original as possible with only a few small updates...

Check in the front opening under the dash I threw one fitting in there since it was loose in the cockpit and did not want to lose it. I don't know it it's the one your looking for however...

Congrats again Sean on the Cig 20.

You can have mine if I don't use them.

Not sure if I am gonna eliminate the forward locker yet when I start the restoration next winter.

I thought mine was a project when I bought it, but you definitely have me beat! Can't wait to see the project progress, I'm looking to unload mine and get into something a little bigger like a 24' Pantera or a 26' Corsa as my 20' Cigarette is just a "hold me over" boat until my vintage 35' Mistress is complete.

Good luck with the project, I might get a chance to meet you Long Island guys this Summer as my girlfriend has a house in Ocean Beach, FI and my cousin has a share in Southhampton for 4 weeks.

Have fun with your new project. Looks like you have your work cut out for you and it's great you have a solid hull. Don't see many 8-tracks around any more. :D

Nope, I'm in NY.
My dad was supposed to go out for a photo shoot w/ a chopper.
His boat will be at the palm beach show. How much you looking for your 20?

I didn't see a chopper, but I did see the boat anchored out off of Hells Gate near High Point @ Sewall's Point on my way out and then I passed it coming in as I was leaving the Pocket. I waved to whoever was on the boat, I'm sure they'll remember me as the obnoxiously loud all white baby Cigarette. :drink:

I guess I'm asking $20k for the 20', that includes the boat, a 454/370HP, totally freshened jet drive, new electrical, new gauges, new plumbing, new fuel lines/pickups, single axle aluminum Magic Tilt. I have too much into it to take anything much less than that, but I am open to offers. I'm keeping the big motor I had built for my "new" boat, either a 24' Pantera or a 26' Corsa.

Harry, he was cleaning the waterline.
Chopper didn't get to shoot him yet, and today is supposedly rough out.

BTW, I wouldn't worry about how loud your boat is... he doesn't remember you coming by. You're like stealth baby. :evilb: ;)

I replaced everything in my restoration a '72 20 ftr. I replaced or rechromed and kept it original. Let me know if you need contacts for replacement parts.

They are from an Olds cutlass 442 hood.My friend has a 1971 and they are the same as the ones on my boat.
