how big is the cabin on a 1984 35 mistress
what kinda speeds would it run with 500hp's and trs drives how does the boat ride and handle thanks Ty |

My brother has an 85 Mistress.....big cabin and runs in the low 60's

My 1985 Mistress with 650-675HP (540's) Trs, runs 71-74 in just about any condition. Even when its rough it feels like speed bumps in the parking lot

The boat is still a flat deck, so the cabin height is short for a 35' I think the cafe's and guns have more head room.

i have a 79 mistress w 577 700hp n/a's upper 70's thru anything, i go out when its so ruff i'm the only boat out there. the boat is so solid it's amazing. BTW you dont need steps when your in big water :D

I always thougt that too!!! Until we were in a following see in our mistress in about 5 footers on erie. I was working the throttles to the best of my ability. How fast? probably 4000-4200rpm on the tach(twin 502's). Here comes rice hauler in his twins step gun and does a complete 360 around us and passes us up again! Danmn, I was floored. But then again, that was the first time for me in driven in the rrough. Plus, if you know how rob drove his cig, you wouldnt be surprised. Jr. |

Jr. In all seriousness, a Mistress is a great boat. We had a Kevlar lay-up and it was fast. My cousin has a '84 Fiberglass with 600hp & TRS it runs about 66mph. |
