38GT or 39 Unlimited ?
 

Looking for some input on selecting a new Cigarette. Started with used boats and now looking at new. Not sure what the pros and cons of the 38 vs. the 39. Any input appreciated.

If you can afford the 39, the real diff is the ability to run staggered. i just bought the 38 gt 2006 with 525s. The 39 with the same motors runs about the same speed, if not a few miles an hour slower. so to spend the extra money, if you're looking at 525s, i feel, is not worth it. if you're looking for bigger power, i.e. 600s or 850s with #6s, then the 39 is probably worth the extra money because of staggering. either way, they are both great boats and look identical--good luck in your search!--Dave
