Ok Guys Whats it worth? 1993 Top Gun

Here's what I know so far.

it's a 1991 or 1993 Top Gun
Supposed to be Kevlar Hull?
2 new GM 502 crate motors (car motors) 502/502
Cams were changed for blower setup
1471 Blowers
Super chillers
4 brand new 800 cfm holley marine carbs
MSD retard controllers
Huber trannys Newer less than 70 hours
Merc # 3 drives Newer as well less than 70 hours
Deck has fresh paint all white
Hull is original gel coat but is in pretty good condition I'd say 8 out of 10
Comes with tri axel trailer.
Full cuddy all original needs re done
Gauges all original but all work.

Motors the way he has them set up is a claimed 900 hp. He keeps blowing them up from detonation which does not suprise me do to the fact they are only gm crate motors and he is trying to get 900hp out of them.

! motor is brand new never fired the other was run last year only for a total of 20 hours max.

I would think if they were de tuned to 600 or 650 hp they should be fairly reliable.

The boat has ran a claimed 107 mph? In current config.

Thats pretty much what I know so far. Any comments or suggestions are welcome. I am very intrested in this boat and will most likely buy it. I'm looking for varying opions on what it might be worth.

I and the boat are located in Cleveland Ohio area. It is and always was a fresh water boat.

Thanks Rob

Thanks for that info.
I guess what it ran really isn't important to me.

My concearn is what will it run with say 600 or 650 HP. And can the GM create motors that are in it be realiably tuned to put out 600hp?

Thanks

With that kind of hp you should be seeing speeds in the high 70's to low low 80's. Sorry bud can't answer the other question. Good luck with it

Plus, that boat is mint with 525SC, Carbon Fiber Lay-up, and runs in the mid 70's. It runs those speeds becuase it's light! That's the boat to have

I Just received a little more information.

Boat also has MSD Pro Billet Dist with the 7al digital boxes and on dash retard controls. He has 3 sets of props going with it one set he claims to have paid 10,000 for they are labbed 4 blades herrings?

I am working on pictures I may go to see her tonight. i will have to make a decision tomorrow. As he needs the money in a hurry for an investment. If I don't buy tomorrow the price will go back up. But right now it can be had for under 50k.

Seems like a no brainer to me.

I know the guy personally and I know most the history of the boat. The hull only has 100 hours on it. This guy has thrown over 100k in this boat in the last 3 years.
