Really stiff steering
 

Anyone here know why the steering would be so stiff on my 01 Top Gun? Ive had the drives off,its all free back there,reservoir is full,seems like the helm is bad,is this typical for a Cig? My buddy has an 01 like mine and it is stiff too,but not like mine. I run 98 plus so Id like a little more finness in the wheel. It feels almost like no power steering at all.

Could be signs that your pump is starting to let go. Sometimes when this happens, some debris will get into the helm unit and make it very stiff. Also check your inline filter and replace. I am working on some steering probs on my 01' Donzi, and that is what was happening. New pump and filter, and all seems to be well.
