if you own a cigarette you obviously know boats, and if you say a Kevlar straight bottom cig does not handle good you are in the wrong sport and you should take up golf

I must have missed that. Anyhow, I always thought that handling was one of their many awesome strong points.

Barron owned the old "Keyed Up" and we went and sea trailed the "Fanny Doctor." They are sister boats. There are reasons why the Keyed Up boat has been sold many times and no one kept it very long. They do have their problems and I would put them under the category of handling. However, to say "if you own a cigarette and you ovbiously know boats and if you say a Kevlar straight bottom cig does not handle good your in the wrong sport you should take of golf"....give me a break! We've had 9 Cigarettes over the years. How many have you had?

I ran Keyed up for 2 summers and I would NOT say it had any handling issues and is NOT why I sold it. It is definately a drivers boat. The more I drove it the more I liked it. Given a choice I'd take my 2000 full cabin-500efi boat though, but then again I dont give a sh*t about topspeed. They both cruise @50+mph, one just burned 1/2 the fuel.

Anyone have the 411 on this 97 TG. It looks like a sweet ride with maticulous rigging. I personally don't care for the rear bolster set-up but that could be remedied.

We looked at that boat a few years ago. It's nice and he has done a lot of work to it since he bought it. You will like the 3 man bolster set-up in the back. We have it in our Gun and everyone says they love it. You can stand up or partially sit which is nice and it also has 3 storage compartments behind the bolsters.

Thanks, is the boat as nice as it looks in the Pics? I guess I shouldn't say I don't like the bolster set up until I have tried it:)

It seems to be the best boat for the money $104,500.00. Some older boats are listed for more $. The low NADA is $113,200.00. What is the deal?

I just think Mike is ready to sell it and that is why he has it priced where it is. You practically have to give a boat away today for it to sell. I haven't seen it in a few years but it was previously owned by a buddy of ours and I know it's been mint up to when we looked at it. It had 500hp's when we looked at it and the guy had overheated them and was going to trade it in on a cruiser. I believe a guy in Daytona purchased it, put the blowers on, and then somehow it ended up in California. Von Bongo bought it out there.

Mike I'll take a 2% commission :D

That is Vonbongo's boat that he was talking about earlier. Mike takes care of his stuff.....well he writes the checks :D His boat is near perfect. It is maintained by CPR at LOTO. They are the BEST at LOTO. The gel/paint work is done by Gel Pro's at LOTO. They are the BEST at LOTO. Any vinyl fixes were done by Advanced Canvas at LOTO. They are the BEST at LOTO.

The boat is fantastic. I even thought about buying it, but its a little out of my budget. The rear bolsters also don't work for me with 2 & 5 year olds.

Personally, I think he's nuts for selling it :D :D

HI guys,

Yep, thats my boat, no idea why it hasn't sold. I had it listed at $129K and had few calls, lowered it to $112K and got few calls. So on a whim i said, well I'll put it under $100K and see it anyone bites. 3 calls in a month.

No one has even come to look at it. Now that we have started the winter upgrades it's off the market. For a few thousand someone could have bought the seat Phil has, cut the hatch and had a conventional cockpit gun for waaaaaaaaaaay less that any other boat of similar vintage is listed for.

Oh well, she is a sweet boat!
