we should put together a weat coast cig regatta, all the west coast builders have them, why not the worlds best builder, even if we get no support from cigarette,we have enough of us on the west that have cigs and go to havisu ....maybe a good turn out.

A bunch of them cigar boats will be in Vegas on the 7th & 8th of October....

We have to start somewhere. Why not at a OSO national race.

That is a great idea! There are a bunch of Cigs coming out west lately. Could be a good turn out. Catalina, Havasu, whatever. But you need to give a little more notice than a month there Chris. :D

I got rid of a 94 tg ,now I am trying toput together a deal on a 89 bullet,that is in perfect condition.750 per side when I am done with her.I wanted some thing smaller for lake trips, but still big enough for the big blue ,with the wifes request of an enclosed head the bullet works for me.

hey,thisistank. How do you like your new graphics? I live about 6 min. from Teague.I saw the artical in pwb mag on the new graphics, the boat I am doing is all white so I call the placethat did yours,got a good price, so I may do the same.
any thoughts good or bad ? would you do it agin or any thing diferent?

I'll tell ya. Kim is great at the graphics co. She did a really good job with the vinyl and works with a design you come up with. To be honest I was really apprehensive about having the vinyl on. My last graphics were vinyl too and there was some areas where they rubbed and got damaged. So I was stressed about docking and tying up with other boats (fenders rubbing). But after using it last weekend and having an opportunity to have it docked and get pretty beat up by boat wakes there was no damage whatsoever. They held up really well.

They said it'd last 3-5 years no prob. If I can get 2-3 I'll be happy. Figure you can do new vinyl graphics (wtih a new design each time) every two years for 20 years and still not pay what one custom paint job would cost.

I would definitely say go for it! It'll be back out at Teagues in the next few weeks getting a new swim step put on. You can check it out in person.

There are two Cigs at Teagues this morning...42 straight and a 38 straight. Maybe we can have the Cig regatta at Teagues.... :D

Chris, I don't think it'll be in '06. Let's shoot for spring '07. Too much stuff going on from now to the end of the year. Plus it'll give everyone enough time to clear schedules and to set up a destintation.

Is the Tiger at Teagues the ones that's always there with the two different paint jobs on each side. Which Gun is there?

Yea, that was a fun trip. 6 Cigs and a fountain towing 5 hours to havasu.

The cigs were:

Tom w/ a T/S Gun
Tim w/a straight Tiger
Chris w/a straight gun
Us with a straight gun
kevin with a T/S Lip-Ship gun
Dan with a 35 Playboy

I think that we could have no problom getin it together for 07 ,
that even gives us enough time to try to get some sponsors, maybe.But like I said in the start of this thread, we do it even if we get no suprot.You know what I take back what I just said ,we should just all met up and plan a real nice trip to some body of h20 .

Grimmy, how's things been? I can't believe you still have the Gun. Great boat! You need to drag that thing out to Long Beach this weekend. 25 of us (including 8 Cigs) are doing a photo/video run. A bunch of other boats are coming down to hang as well. Then everyones going to do lunch. Going to be a great day.

hey tank, man i had the weekend off too, but i chose to work over going on my havazoo trip to the springs again, and now this, f$#k!

whats up with the races on mead, you coming out? we need to meet up.

i still got her, but tons of people looking and falling in love, but the trs's are a ***** to get rid of i guess. they are mostly all east coasters too, i figured with so few for sale out west she might go fast, but hey i still get to use her and with no payment it is't hurting me any. haha.

Robert, we're not going to make the races but I hear it's going to be a great event.

Like Tom said, the video run was great! I think there ended up being 9 cigs there. Here's some pics. Maybe you'll have to make it out for the SCOPE Channel Islands run in December.
