Mistress Prop Rotation
 

Is there anyone who is running a mistress or even an old flat deck with the props turned out?? I was wondering how much speed I would loose. Docking kind of sucks with them turned in. I am running the TRS Setup Currently.

My brother turns his in on his mistress. But used to turn them out years ago. I'll ask him when I see him how much he gained by turning them in.

I think I would give up the 2-3 MPH to make the docking easier........or would I..........

on my 77 mistress i originally tried them out. May have been a mile or two faster but i hated the handling. try some hyromotive props turned in great flat ride.

I have a 1982 Mistress with 540's turning out. Run 72 to 74 depending fuel/load. 72 mph anytime. mirage three blade 25 pitch, 5400 rpm's.

I doubt you would lose 3 mph with that hull. My '86 flat deck might have lost 1 mph turning out. 572ci with #3SSM Drives. The handling was certainly worth it for me!
