Didn't think I was going to need to replace with Konrads this year either. Just cruising along at 3800 RPM and suddenly the REV limiter is being touched and NO GO. Suddenly I am selling the TRS's and going with Konrads. Parts are getting harder to find. Try finding good cases and original gears. Not the aftermarket knockoffs. Not to mention the companies that are cutting the replacement gears are a few of the parts are no where near as strong as the original mercury parts. The best thing to do is have a set of back ups and start hoarding parts. That's what i was going to do.

No, I can't but they haven't been as bad as we thought they would be. They have all the heavy duty IMCO parts & shafts. We got 100 hrs and 8 poker runs out of them and then we had a bearing failure in the upper. TNT just re-did them with everything brand new ( 8 hrs on them) and we'll go through them again in another 100 hrs.

Well, I did well on ebay. I sold all of the RH shafts, gears, carrier bearings, etc.

I still have the upper and lower case from the RH TRS in great shape Fully Rebuildable. Phantom Black top Poweder Coated Lower and a complete LH TRS Drive with 75 Hours. Guess nobody needed it.......yet. I will probably list it in the classifieds for a while and then put it on ebay again. Obviously make a package deal for a OSO member
