tiger twin step speeds 525-575

Without any inflation of speed what are the speeds of a 525 & 575 tiger with twin step.

Anyone that owns one- What do you have to say about the boat/hull...

A guy in my neighborhood ownes one. Went on a small local poker run and the boat I was on would do just about 88 that day and he was running a little behind us. He has a 04 with 575's. That boat will do around mid 80's.

Thanks for the response. Is your neighbor happy with the hull?

REAL WORLD SPEEDS:

525EFI Tiger 80mph +/- & 575SCi Tiger 84mph +/-

A buddy of ours had one with 525's and he loved it, put over 100 hrs on it, but needed something a bit faster. Also, the cockpit is smaller on the Tiger than the Gun.

Mike, which boat does your neighbor own?

Yeah those speeds are probably more like it but I was giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Lucky, he has 2 nice fast boats. He keeps a 36 Apache with 575's on the lift behind his house and he has the 42 twin step tiger at a local high and dry. His Tiger has a maroon and yellow orangish paint scheme and the interior has like a skin color on the seats with maroon yellow and so forth. It is a 2004 model.

I remember now, it belonged to a guy we knew but he passed away. I guess that is his brother who has it now.

Re: tiger twin step speeds 525-575

It really depends on configuration and location. We have an 01' TS with the extended cover girl and a head with a holding tank. With the high humidty and heat, the 575's run better on certain days. But here in fresh water, 81 or 2 in the right water conditions is the norm. Hope This Helps. :drink:
