2003 Lip-Ship SmartCraft 525 EFI

Just to let everyone know, my Cig. sold after "truly" having it on the market for only one week.... and I didn't even have to post it on the internet! What bad market??????? I don't see a bad market :D

Congratulations to the new owner. He has a grrrrreat boat (not that I'm biased).

He's a great guy. Please welcome him to the family next week in Sarasota. My friend Gordon (who's also a Cigarette owner) and I are coming down to play "1st Mate" and introduce him to everyone. I look forward to seeing everyone there!!!!!

Here is a hint for all of the people who can't sell their boat and cry about "the market" :rolleyes:

A boat is worth what you can get someone to pay for it...Drop the price to something reasonable and they usually sell quickly!!!! :D :evilb: :D :evilb:

The late model TopGun market is very good. You were fortunate to be selling one of the most popular used boats out there .Also,they are extremely desireable to a wide variety of people. Plus, it was a Lip-Ship boat and even more important, a Grafikworx boat. I saw that boat brand new, and it was spectacular! Harold,s boats always seem find a home.They are a cut above the rest. Good luck with your sale.

Congratulations.

Sold my Cigarette to someone that called within 12 hours of posting it for sale here on OSO. I would say there were 7 legitimate buyers, and 3 serious buyers out of the almost 40 calls I got over a 3 week period. If it is priced right, it will sell.

So what's next? This has to be the fastest 39 out there as of this writing. I think I read they were seeing 107MPH out of 700's. This is going to be crazy fast. :cool:

ASG said his new unlimited was seeing almost 107 w/700's. That sick azz animal with a pair of 1075's has to be a handful to drive! :eek: I would love to see some speed numbers on it. :evilb:

I have to to tell you guys.... I sold it for a reasonable price, and yet held firm to what, in my mind and all of the "experts" minds, was top dollar ---- and, when you see it, it shows as a "top dollar" 2003 w/ all the bells and whistles.

It's going to be strange riding as co-pilot in Sarasota! :cool:

Congrats Joe!! Will you have the new one by Miami/Key West Run? Hope the new Cig has as an equivalent stereo for the new tunes I sent ya! I'll have to agree with you on what bad market?? In Oct. we've sold both the Chris Craft (now in Kema), and the Bluewater (going to Possum Kingdom). Down to the Cig only....FINALLY!!

In Sarasota we were slipped next to "Mike" who owns a 39' 1075 boat. He says he gets appx. 126, I believe....Don't quote me --- we DID have a few cocktails that evening! :D
