You have Bravo's so try it both ways ... Fairly easy thing to do...

On my previous Tiger and the Cafe in helped a little on speed (maybe 1 or 2 mph) but handling around the dock was so sh!tty that I did not like it.

Speed is one thing but ramming a dock or a parked boat at a restaurant with 200 people looking that are just waiting for you to fu@k up with your loud boat is another thing.

Well said, I have my TRS drives on my mistress pointed in and it always seemed like it was my first time running a boat. Kind of embaressing when you pull next to somone with twins and stuggle. I will give up the 1-2 mph to be able to handle the boat around the docks. The Konrads that I am installing this weekend will be pointed out. of course if its 5 mph slower I may have to reconsider.......LOL Good Luck. You can always swap if you don't like it

Mine are turnung in. I dont like the handle around the docks. IT PLAIN SUCKS. I used to be able to put my Tiger in a 43' spot. Now I need the whole damned dock not to embarress myself and look like a first time boater.

Believe it or not, once you get the hang of it, it handles pretty niceley around the dock.

Im hoping that is the case. One factor that I think is also effecting the handling and backing is the steps in the hull themselves. This is my first stepped hull and while backing it doesnt track very straight.

Ive heard that they are squirelly at speed turning in.I have a Top Gun T/S. I would like to try it if its safe.If you do this I understand you just run each drive in reverse,is that right?

Re: t/s cigs... props in or out

Don,t get me wrong. After coming out of a Topgun, it was a horror show at first. But, after playing with it and getting used to it, it really is not that bad. It reacts differently than a traditional twin-screw boat, but it reacts.

P.S. Otis, isn,t your Glad side by side setup? If so, why not turn props out. I always thought turning in was better for the staggered setup.

Don,t waste your time .A Topgun with Bravos runs just fine turning out.

Hey Tres,I see your online, what about turning props in on an 01 Top Gun? Bad Idea?

Re:01 t/s cigs... props in or out

I swiched them in on Sunday, ran 101mph,a good 2mph more.I liked it,ran perfect, rpm came up 500 more, boat felt solid,I think Im gonna leave it this way for now. Put it on the trailer afterwards, all done here in Michigan. I was suprised by that big an increase in rpm,and I trimmed .5 less than usual, only 3.5......so theres probably more. Thanks to Tres for some pointers on setup!
