Experimental Top Gun 1998
 

Phil/Lipship build in 1998 a Top Gun experimental edition
with notched strakes and some hull mods.
Anybody knows this boat or has some informations about
this modifications.

I've seen the pics of the boat. I think the boat was a 1999 with multicolor graphics of blue, green, and yellow. The boat had stock 502 (415hp). I was told it did not increase performance, but then again that's not many horses for a Gun.

I thought I heard that they got 70- 72 mph out of that boat. If true, that,s not bad considering that a stock 502 boat would do about 64 ish.

Phil said he did one, thought it was in Michigan (Johnny Lightning old boat).

It's for shure that this experimental TopGun with 502 (415hp) was much faster then the stock ones. But what's the
differences on the full and on the strakes. I would like
to modify my Carbon Top Gun 2x800hp.
Any help?
