Just out of curiosity, because we sold our 28 Open a couple of months ago and are still shopping, but are these agreed value policies?

I was paying $2K per year through Total Dollar on an agreed vlaue of $45K.

Mine is an agreed value policy with no layup or regional restrictions. I only have it insured for 70K and have a 2K deductable. I think that if a boat is financed, you have to have it insured for at least the amount of the note on it. I don't owe anything on mine. ;)

Just my 2 cents.

I'll pull my policy at lunch and check but it isn't a high amount and the dedcutable is at least $1000 and may be $2K. I think me and Sy need to have a talk!!!!

I know I have a layup from Nov 15 to April 1 and usage is limited to Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa.

What I don't get is this is through Bob (Worldwide Marine Underwrites)
Policy is sea-safe Sullivan & Strauss Agency out of NewYork.
$7789.00 year with a $9750.00 deductible & a 6 month layup.
I called Bob, but he was out today.
