He bought it awhile ago. He was trying to sell it over the Summer but decided to keep it and do a few upgrades to it. We looked at it a few years ago before we bought our last TG. Nice boat. You may want to send him a PM.

I still have the boat.we are doing some minor upgrades as last year we did pretty much everything else.

No reason to try and sell it over the winter. Next year will be my 3rd season with the boat. If you are interested drop me a PM.

Engines were rebuilt last winter carb to pan. They came out of the boat as HP 500's with blowershop 250's and went back in as completly rebuilt 509's by Boyd Racing out of Norman Oklahoma. Blowers sent to the blower shop for service. Carbs rebuit only thing I know we reused was the exhaust, oil coolers and ignition and we're changing the ignition to MSD and putting on new oil coolers as we speak.

Dyno sheets are available and if you want to know what's in the motors you can talk to Boyd, they keep all their specs. Built to be reliable and mild around the docks. 650HP & 660HP on the dyno at 5200 want more? Change the rev limiter and you get 680 & 690 at 5500.

Drives..Bravo 1. Imco's will be about $19,000, XR's around $12K and Konrads will run you about $30,000-$35,000 with boxes. If you want to change the cockpit to a standard set up Phil has the back seat. Need to cut the hatch and redo the sunpad. I figured about $2,500 to do it including recovering Phil's seat.

Correct, not stagger. Storage area between standard bulkhead and the 3 person bolster.

Red Cloud is a great boat. The maintainence has been first class also.

Furmans old Cig was a great boat. I hope Bob is enjoying it. It was my wifes favorite and she hates purple so go figure. :rolleyes:

Totally agree! I love things that are a little different than what the rest of the "crowd" has. The classic paint and the rear bolster set the boat apart from the cookie cutters. Unfortunately, it's also the 2 things that the wife DOESN'T like about the boat. Damn the luck! :D

Can't believe yours hasn't sold either Randy. Beautiful, very original boat with a great history.
