it doesn't have the three bolsters across the front no more i had new ones made , original type, and the back seat isis not original. the scoops in the rear hatch are original.

I had some very memorable times running with Billy side by side, Firefox and that 28SS up and down the Jersey shore. From Sandy Hook to Seaside Heights, where we would sit Offshore and enjoy a cold beer, some laughs, catch some sun . Then it was time to leave so we fired those Cigarettes up and raced back to Atlantic Highlands to haul them out and go home and wash and flush them. Life was good.

boat is still in mint condition, since i bought it i've put two new motors, full hydralic steering,custom exhaust, new bolsters, to much to list. don't think i will ever sell it. the boat is to much fun.

i'm at tice's shoal a couple times a year. don't go near waters edge with my boat,but want to make a couple of runs to captains inn. where are u located, i'm out of kettle creek.

I'm in Middletown. I always put in at Atlantic Highlands ramp. Follow the sirens and flashing lights.

I just recently bought a 76 28ss that I am going to restore. yours is one of the nicest classic cigs I think I have seen. I love the color combination. Id love to see yours some time for comparision.

chissbb, did u buy your boat locally i'd like to see more pics of it. i just bought a digital camera and scanner, i have to wait till spring to take better pics when boat is uncovered . is that the boat from ocean township.n.j. ? if u need to see some of my configuration let me know, you can stop by an take a look, i,m in brick . Love to talk about cigarette's.

Its along story how I came by this boat but it was in oakhurst NJ and previosly out of atlantic city. i have always loved the 28ss and the right surcumstances came up for me to get a hold of this one. I would post some more pics but the boat is really dirty. the weather is not cooperating. I have stripped the engines and running gear out of the boat. my brother is an engineer for Richard Petty and I shipped the engines to NC so they could go through them. I work for Viking yachts and am stripping and powdercoating the gimbals, rams, tabs etc. at the factory.
