cabin head room
 

Looking to up grade to a 38.How is the cabin room compared to scarab.What is the head room height.What is the differents in 38 & 39 besides staggered motors.

What year Gun are you considering? If you are into cabins the newer covergirl cabin will not suite you. The Scarab always had a full cabin with the two facing benches, head, bed at the bow and the small sink/cabinet area. Nice layout, simple.

My good friend has a 97 38 Scarab that I've had a lot of seat time in. I personally like the (full) cabin in the Top Gun much better. In fact (for my needs) I feel it's the best cabin ever made from any builder that I've seen. The mid 90's cabin in the Cafe and Guns have a small table to the left with facing chairs, small sink, HUGE built in ice chest, inclosed head, bench and bed at the bow.

If you are into partying at the lake with friends there's no better cabin than the (full cabined) top gun. The head room is about the same on the Scarab and the Gun...Too short! I'm 6' and have to squat down. I'd say the head room is 5', maybe less.

No, I really like the Scarab ride. The straight bottoms ride very well in the rough. His has 800's and #3's. Nice set up. But it's still not a Top Gun ride. There's a difference.:cool:
