Lowered price on my Gladiator...

Okay guys, I just lowered the price. If you are even remotely interested, let me know. I'm ready to make someone a heck of a deal. I have my eye on something else! :D

Nice price on a SMOKIN BOAT!
Wish they had a cabin for play time with the G.F. :drink:

Sharp graphics.

Chads boat is one fine looking machine. Thats a great boat for a smoking price. I climbed all over it last year when I was shopping. There isnt a flaw in the whole boat

jawbreakerkid 03-06-2007 03:13 PM

Thanks guys. The pictures really do not do it justice. The depth in the paint makes it look like you could stick your finger in it.

otis311- If you thought it was clean when you saw it, you should see it now. I've shown it a little midwest love....:D

How does it handle the rough waters of LOTO?

It has a very aggressive attitude in the water with enough power to throttle through anything at LOTO. It flies very level and seems to correct itself in the air if launched off of quartering waves. It actually weighs a little more than my old F2 and is only 7" shorter.

Otis- So how was the transition from a straight bottom Tiger to a Gladiator? Pros....cons?

Chad

Dano 03-08-2007 12:39 PM

Chad,
You change boats more than I do:D
Were sticking with the Gladiator another season or two.
That's a good number on that boat, should sell easily. What's next?
Dan

Dan-

Hey! Thanks for the compliment on my boat, however your boat is absolutely gorgeous! It is my favorite Gladiator out of them all.

I hate to admit it, but I think a 44 Sea Ray is next for me. I must be getting old! :D

That's a sure sign!

I'd think a Sunseeker Superhawk with Tri-max's would at least keep you out of plad pants, white belt and off a golf league for a few more years:evilb:

I have been very cautious on how we throw the boat around during a run, but with 20 + hours on her now, Im really falling in love with the boat. She proved herself in some really big water last week coming back from Islamorada. It aint a wave crusher, but there is no doubt it deserves the No 1 on the side of her hull.

Its funny you say this, I have been scouring the Dupont Registery trying to educate myself on the 48'-55' Cruisers that are out there. It will take a few more years, but I do have the itch for something different. A Sunseeker is my ultimate dream

Dano 03-09-2007 08:02 AM

Almost went there before getting this Gladiator, wife talked me down though:D

Thanks for the comp on the boat! Wifey calls me up to let me know Tom was upgrading his truck so we are going to get the F-350 he had built for the Maximus that has the same paint scheme (I suppose this must mean were keeping it for a while).

You guys should come up for the Ohio River Charity PR lots of big new toys will be there. I have a "in" with the lady who runs that one:D

Good luck on the sale and the next selection!

Otis, get some seat time and the Gladiator is a extremely well tempered hull at speed...I met you guys at the OSO party in Miami.

Dan
(PS: There was a 50' Searay for sale up here last year that looked promising...if you like I can try to see if it's still out there.)

Downtown42 03-09-2007 09:17 AM

Blume has a 50 SR for sale 1993 for 295k freshwater.

Cincinnati SUCKS! Lived there for 34 years. But you can get deals on boats there - if you don't mind them sitting in very muddy water. Very few go fast boats. Your Gladiator is probably one of the nicest boats in the city! Can I see picks Dano? :D

Thats why I have a pontoon boat and a 1949 classic woody and also a 21' Checkmate with a 235 Yamaha on the back. The lake is getting real small for me anyways

Dano 03-12-2007 09:20 AM

Otis, we were at the bar before the "show" started. No worries, I'm not that remarkable:D
Sure we will run into each other somewhere.

Mark, that muddy water is all we have bro! Ask LS Jr that dude has more pics of the boat than I do...:D

Sick Nordic 03-12-2007 06:20 PM

Any interest in a 34 Sea Ray trade. Its the 2002 in the classifieds.

Mark 03-14-2007 05:28 PM

Hey Dano, I just hope you don't leave your Cig. in the water all season. Do you go up to Port Clinton? Seen Jaws? It's a sweet MTI. Fastest boat on Lake Earie. :evilb:
