ouch, Jeff are you sure it was blown docking or that is just when it let loose. Was it a good day on the water, that is the real question?
No I am sure it was damaged before and just froze up when they were putting the boat away in the dry slip. No blame to anyone.. just laughing at myself cause I just got the boat less than 2 weeks ago !!! It was going to happen sooner or later, I was just hoping later !! |
That's shocking news. ;) :D
Really, that sucks.. good luck with the upgrades! Send GLH a PM, he bumped his 600SC's up a bit in his Tiger. |

I thought this would be an open letter to Marc that the boat he sold to the guy you bought it from was advertised with fresh drives two years ago and you are upset that he won't stand behind them! :D |

Tanner, Listen to me closely. LEAVE THE MOTOR AS IS. The boat is a wave crusher, not a speed deamon. More HP = more headaches and more broken parts and not a lot more speed with that hull. You have a real nice boat with a good setup |

Nope, I think this board has had enough he said she said BS ! I bought the boat "as is" and alrady planned on changing them. If I wanted a warranty I would have dished out 400k + and Cigarette would have been happy to do so !!! I do hope Marc and Chris can resolve the differences though, I think they are both good guys ! |

Of course you still should upgrade to XR's. Even those will be at there limit with the existing power you have in the boat now

Hey bud, have you thought about the Konrad's vs the xr's for longevity. A few of the Chicago cig guys said they went with them on an older cig and swear by them. Maybe a few thousand more now for 2 less new drives againnnnnn later. Just curious. Hammer
I have, I just am not going to keep the boat that long, maybe for a season. I will address the drive issue when I pick up a Tiger and am going to keep it for awhile. I saw the konrads at the drive shop and they looked nice !! |
