i like the option of moving the steering wheel, but they need to add the 3rd removable bolster. Cig has done it on a few 42s, but i dont know why more peope dont do it.

center steer rocks... just need the 3rd bolster.... u get a big head in the cabin too

They did a couple of the center steering wheel set ups but from what I heard it wasn't well recieved (the whole homo-phobia of riding right next to your boy while you're running:evilb: )

I bieleve the first couple of 39's were built with the center wheel until Phil built the purple and orange one and put it back to normal.

Third drop in bolster would be cool as well as being able to move the wheel to the starboard side.

The layout looks like a 39 OL to me, I love that boat. Saw it at the KWPR in 05. Center helm is cool, like old school Apache!

The best looking center steer 39 TGU was the one they had at Offshore-Performance, I believe it was also in a couple of Cigarette ads. Center steer is cool and even though you don't see them advertised anymore, Cigarette will build you one.

My buddy and I went to Ocean Performace in 05 to buy that boat, when he saw the center steer he passed and ordered a standard one. I know the original owner, he had more than his share of problems with the boat, wasn't a happy camper, not sure what he has now.

I also would pass on any boat that was center steer. Just don't like it.
