That was GREEK LIGHTNING's old boat. He only had it for a few months. It has been through a few people since. I think it mostly ran 108-109mph and JT had it at 111mph once. I have no idea what they're asking for it.

sick...why so many hands on her?

I'm not really sure. A lot of people say the #6 Guns don't handle well becuase of the additional weight in the rear and some say they handle fine. I've seen where GREEK LIGHTNING says that he liked the boat and the only reason he traded it was becuase Cig got a pair of 1075's for a 42X and I've seen him say he only kept it 4 months you can figure out why.

No amount of tuning or dialing in with that power and set up would get that boat any faster. Believe me, to get those #'s in that boat, several experts put there heads together. It ran those #'s once.

You can see how our #6 boat runs compaired to Kevins (Out of Control) boat in a SCOPE video run we made....we ran next to each other for the video...Ours runs great...the only reason I will sell ours is to get a RR...
We had it at Havasu last weekend, could have given you a ride...
Anytime you can make it to the left coast, I'll get the scope guys together for a run...

Its a sweet boat. It was repo'd or bank owned at one time. The engines had been removed. A guy by the name of Wayne Mcgee here in Richmond that owns a large/successful wakeboard boat dealership bought it, tracked down the original engines, and rebuilt everything. The boat is pristine. He had a Tiger that he sold to another OSO member previously. He has only run Strip Poker a handful of times in 2 years, and he took the better part of a year to get everything the way he likes it. Its sharp, and clean, and Wayne takes good care of his equipment.

The story goes that the boat was slated to be in the Miami Boat Show Cigarette booth and the woman was originally naked. A very large and prominent Utah/Mormon Yacht builder is historically right across the aisle from the Cig booth, and they complained as such that the bikini was added to her before the show opened. I am sure others know more details, but that was the word at the time.

She's right! The 38 is a perfect size all around for lake & ocean boating.

StraightPriority,

I've seen this boat down at Lake Cumberland a couple of times. Never climbed all over it, but did get to look at it up close. I've always always liked this boat. I took my girlfriend down there about a month ago she spotted the boat and loved the color scheme (purple of course) and I liked the fact of a 38 Top Gun loaded to the hilt and w/ Sterling Motors and #6's.
