:D :D :D :D :D what a day, phill flew in from miami to sea trial ricks former gladiator, osg, with my son and i in ohio on the ohio river in cincinatti, i cant say enough about how passionate phill is about his boats and who buys them, phill had some family members there at the marina that had the boat all ready and launched us in the river, after a 45 miniute ride [ i still cant get this smile off my face] the osg is an awesome ride, the zul motors fired up and ran like a screamin eagle, we crused at 80 gps at 3900 rpm phill hit the gas and she hit 105 instantly! this boat has amazing acceleration, the river still had some floatin debris so i dont think he wanted to really air it out, logs and herring props dont mix well, again thanks to all the board members here for your help, thanks to phill and his family, and thanks to rick for having such a awesome boat built, dan.

thanks darren, sometimes things happen for a reason, where did your gladiator end up at?, also what motor oil did you run in your zuls, i still have breakin oil in mine where rick had them refreshed. And your right, this boat is like a top fuel dragster on water!!

Congrats!!! That is one awesome boat. Where will you be boating? Just out of curiousity, how many hours were on the engines before the refresh?

thanks oldschool, before rick sold the boat to dino, he had ritchie zul tear the motors down they did not need any thing done, but while they were there,he had some hp mods done to them, roller rockers, and some other things to bump up the hp, motors had about 80hrs. most of my boating is on lake cumberland and some indiana lakes. plan on gettin a lot of seat time to get used to this kind of power.

Congrats Dan! Awesome boat! I was beginning to think you were going to be scared away from a Glad! I'm sure you'll love it. I miss mine already.

thanks chad, phill gave me a good education on the water of what not to do with the stepped hull, a little common sense goes a long way in avoiding accidents, and im sure you miss yours, it is a beautiful gladiator.

Common sense does go along way, but unfortunately in today's world, it isn't so common. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Let me know if you ever make it to LOTO. Summer is just beggining and I already have a feeling the 370SS just isn't going to quinch my thurst. :D
