Who made this swim platform?

Thanx to the lift truck driver, the outermost smaller bar on my swim platform is now bent cause he backed into it! (just in time for Jax PR too)
Who made this swim platform? I would like to check into a replacement that would fasten to the boat using the same holes. Here are the best pics I could find of it. |
Looks like either:
Aluminum Marine Products 1890 Griffin Rd. Dania, Fla. ph: 954-923-1905 or 800-966-3313 Or: Innovative Fabrication Inc. No address nor phone # Both of these are from notes that I have from 2001. The phone #'s may not be accurate. At least it may be a starting point. I would try Alum. marine first. With the rear of your platform being straight across matches the picture of theirs. The platform from Innovative has the rear in an arc. Hope this helps. Gary |
I'd get in touch with the folks that made the one for thisistank. Make sure they put the supports in the exact same position by making them a template, and then you will have a really sharp one vs. the plain you have now.
The right shop could repair it too. Just cut off the outer bar and replace; strip, and re-powdercoat. |

Call Kevin (Owner of west coast offshore unlimited). He builds for many of the big factories and is very reasonably priced. Plus he can do custom work like CNCing the name of your boat or graphics into the step. Here's the one he did for us.

Can't you just remove the old bar and have a new one put on? That has to be a lot cheaper than a new platform

Yep. I like the older tubular ones better anyway. Get that one repaired. |
And this is the new marina Bill talked me into moving over to with my new boat...because "the fork lift drivers are the best".
But I know chit happens. Bill, I would go with the repair route. I bet it will save you a lot of aggravation. |
