What speeds 2001 TopGun with blowers & Bravos
 

I have a buddy that has a TS 2001 Cig Top Gun 500efi's stock running around 82-85mph now. I was wondering what kind of speed would ya get if it was Whipple charged say making around 800 hp?? Full cabin,just the regular version.


Also how does this boat handle with a lot of power and Bravo/aftermarket style drives at 100 + mph?

Looking for someone that has done this, not estimates please:drink:

The one from NY that rolled over had 500efi's with Vortech superchargers, they said it ran 98mph.

They run GREAT until you lay that throttle down, come out of the water, get on plane, etc. etc. and blow those bravos!

Yes, they claimed 700hp.

We saw the dyno sheets...702hp & 703hp, that was before the guy bought it in NY and rolled it. With the wrong props, 6 people, full tanks, they saw just about 90mph around 5200rpm.

KS's Lipship Gun in Powerboat ran 105 with 750's.

Go ahead and order XR'S while your at it.

That has something to do w/ it... dialing it in boy!

Its the fastest NA TG ever built, and its a BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD boat.

Looks like it has extension box's.I guess someone's been tweaking on it to get it to that speed?

Just standard ITS on the rear. I've been on Out of Control at over 100mph a dozen times.....great ride.

2 years ago we had 7 or 8 people coming out of the Sand Bar and hit 100.....solid - period!
