I think it's in S. Fla........

That's the smallest detail I know.

HiPerf360 06-12-2007 01:25 AM

Well if you are not forthcoming with details would I be correct in assuming that I should not be interested in this boat?

Unfortunatly I have not been to active on this fourm as i am currently boatless therfore i have no repor with people in the know...

I have been looking for an early 38 T/S 525 boat but i like the idea of not financing any of the purchase.

Thanks,

Jonathon

PS- In no way am I trying to come across as a ****.

by all means be interested in it, check it out and have Ed Cozzi survey it, thats a great looking boat with newer power at least they are appearing honest on the hours too, nice ride.

Give it a little time - it seems to me that at some point there is always someone on this board familiar with just about EVERY cig.

I called on this boat when I was shopping, when it was still in OK over two years ago. They had just done the paint and interior/dash etc. but it had older power (502's I think) and TRS's (which it still has). I think they wanted high 60's low 70's with out a trailer. It was for sale for a long time.

You must be thinking about a different boat. This has hp500s and bravos.

Very nice boat. Wondering where it is located?? Ad says Miami. The background pics surely do not look like Miami to me. Plus the OSU badge says Oklahoma?? Did it relocate?? Anyone have any dirt on it??

Thanks!

SKRAMER 06-12-2007 09:23 AM

Looks like a good deal!! I would go look at it!!!!

carter38 06-12-2007 10:15 AM

Those are the same pics from oklahoma when Josh had it for sale. The boat had hp's in it then also.

I'll vouch for that. I've been on and driven that boat at LOTO. It was a very nice boat two years ago!!! ....but I have no idea what has happened to it. I can't say for sure, but I think that an OSO member from Miami bought it. Call TNT and ask them what they know about it. The ad says that it's stored and maintained there!

That boat is sick. Only thing missing is steering. I wish I was ready to move up cause I would be all over that mother!

My bad...Now that I look at it again, you're right. Looks like a good package. carbed 500's and bravos will push that thing to or just under 70.

If I recall right that boat ran some low 70's don't quote me on that he has had several cafes but I think it was that one.

I'm just going off of Kevin Schultes old cafe...94 w/EFI'd 500's and Bravos ran 73....I was guessing the carbed 500's would be a little slower (less effecient).

Be interested - that boat is sweet. Also - in asking about a boat on this forum I would take every comment with a grain of salt unless it comes from someone who has recently seen and driven the boat. I did the same thing on a pantera I was looking at. I talked to the original owner and even the guy who sold it twice, they all said it was a pretty good boat - or atleast that was what they implied. I was never told what was really wrong with it. I did find out some good history, but nothing as far as how good or bad of shape the boat was actually in. I was all ready to close the deal, until my mechanic came out and told me it was going to cost atleast $10-15K just to make it right. So point being - if you are really interested then have a mechanic or surveyor look at it first.
