I'm pretty sure they were only made from the mid 70's until the Cafe came out......1988?.....I can't remember.

It either not a Mistress or not a '96.......:)

The 35 became the Cafe in 1986.....

Then it became the 35 Top Gun Limited Edition then the 35 Playboy and then finally back to the 35 Mistress before being taken out of production.

according to mike aronows biography of his father the first mistress was made in 1977. the first one was sold to stavros niarchos who used it as the tender for his yacht in the mediterranean, the second went to the shah of iran. i own a 1977 mistress
