I made an aluminum plate to angle the wheel up. It's just a Bent plate attached to the dash with a flat plate welded behind it to angle the pump. ran a capilano helm

Info on post #1

Does anyone know the particular boat in post #1? I believe it is located on Lake St. Clair and would like to know about the boats performance. I have always liked the 28 Cig's and wondered if anyone knew the owners or the particulars.

Thanks

getrdunn 02-12-2010 06:23 PM

There was another here on the board unless this is the one that a guy had mostly restored and the price seemed reasonable. I thought it was in the Chicago area. I'll look for the email he had sent me. The boat looked awesome and I think he had new fuel injected 454's in it.

Nice boat by the way.

HavinATantrum 02-12-2010 07:15 PM

Looking for info.

I believe the current owner purchased in 2007 and ran the boat around Lake St. Clair in 07 & 08 and rack stored in 09 for some reason. It is powered by 350's / Trs drives and is basically old school in the rigging. I am looking for someone that saw the boat run or knows about it's performance / reliability / condition etc..

getrdunn 02-12-2010 10:41 PM

Did you do a thread in the Great Lakes region?

I'm guessing you talked to the current owner, who is trying to sell it now?

Does anyone know if 28SSCIG sold this boat? I recently sold my Nova Spyder and am currently in the market for something like this.
