Definitley have to agree. The staggered set up is *****in! Definitley want EFI's too. I know you can get those in the others - just really like the pic above!

When I went to pick up my boat at Lip-Ship there was an exact replica of my '99 but in a 39 staggered. It seems the owner of Bang & Olufsun Audio in Sweden saw my boat when Wild owned it. He liked it so much that he literally had it reproduced but in a 39 with stagered 525's. So, I guess my answer is the 39. One, because I like the staggered setup and two, because I really like the graphics and interior color since I already own one just like it. Plus, I think it would be really neat to show up at my home port with what appeared to be the same boat and no-one would know the difference, until it magically gained about 12 MPH!!!:D

All the previous BS aside, if I were to buy a new one, out of the 3 choices listed, it would still be the 39 staggered. Just a kick arse boat, period!:cool-smiley-011:

What speeds would ya see with the stag. 525 setup? And what could ya gain by going to 700's?
Love them 39's!

I'm sure the 700's and NXT's would produce some great speed numbers but with the tradeoff of price - ouch!!! My choice would be 525's w/ITS for initial cost and simplicity of maintenance. I would imagine speeds with the 525's would be in the low 90's?

Here's the recall on the staggered 525s! I'd call it 87mph!!!

Muley 08-23-2007 01:35 PM

There's a 06 39 at GSC, with 525's that looks sharp. Only a 3/4 cabin. We are headed to LOTO Friday morning and gonna head to the dog to see some hardware. Hopefully get some ideas there. I don't think you can go wrong with the 525 setup.

omerta one 08-23-2007 01:45 PM

39 for sure....have to go with the 700's though!

Never thought about it that way. Phil's results are hard to argue with. The 38 with 675 Zul's that he got to run 102 was pretty impressive too. Granted, it had some mods to the extension boxes, etc. Would like to see a 39 with those mills and see what the numbers are.

Thanks For All The Feedback Guys .... I Have Zero Access To Anything Above 89 Octane Fuel Within 70 Miles Of My Dock ... Need To Resolve This .... Thinking A Smaller Boat With Stock 525 May Be The Answer !?!??!
