I may be new to the offshore scene, but I've lived here all my life and have never seen that boat. If anyone is interested in buying the boat, I can try and take a look at it. It is over priced by quite a bit IMO.

Tough sell...

1989 boat are a tad hard to get insurance and financing... But still a sweet looking ride. Price is a tad high I think also.

They are definitely harder to insure and finance - I can attest.

ALSO - the 1989 is the old style cabin with the two couches on either side. Unfortunately, market-wide, this is probably the less desireable cabin arrangement when compared with the 1990's on...

That is my old boat. you will not find a nicer cafe. everything on the boat was brand new. boat runs 85 everyday. I know what he paid forit and it wasent 125K. if your looking for a cig this is the boat to buy. if you can get it for the right price.

I'm not one for flag graphics, but those look great.

That boat was redone top to bottom by previous owner. When it was sold to current owner - it looked 95% brand new. I am told current owner hasn't hardly used it and it has been sitting.
I also believe it can be bought MUCH cheaper - like half.

The OSO member that bought the OSO Gladiator is the previous owner.

No expense was "spared", yet he is offering it with that ragged key?

Nice looking boat, I'm not usually one for the flag motif, but that thing is slick looking.

asmith 10-20-2007 09:36 PM

I paid $2000.00 for the new style cigarette plastic steps and your worried about a key that is 18 years old, give me break. when I sell my next cigarette I will make sure I Call cigarette 27 times so I can pay $100.00 for a key that noboby cares about. I could care less if the guy never sells the boat, but if all you can come up with is a key, you may want to get a life.

I don't know why one would add a pic of that ragged key....but the motors/bilge don't look any better....

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 10-25-2007 07:46 AM

Boat looked great when Allen had it... i haven seen it since Mark has... sitting can ruin a boat as we all know! But hauls a$$ for a cafe.. by the way! I wanna say 86 or so!

Hollowpoint 10-25-2007 09:32 AM

And while we're at location Virginia Beach, I just saw another TG for sale yesterday here. Was a 2000 twin step. I guess the taxes around here are hurting everyone :)

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 10-25-2007 06:54 PM

dont liste to themasmith.... us cafe guys must stick together... stecz

Joe92GT 10-25-2007 08:09 PM

haha, I also noticed the old looking key when I saw that auction, and thought the same thing.

Just a bit of humor, not faulting the guy for not getting a new key, though I do think I would if I were owner.

Hollowpoint 10-25-2007 09:23 PM

I'm sorry, but if it was gas money/poker run or a new set of keys, I'd be hot wirin' the beotch!

It's one think if you can afford to maintain a boat with an "open checkbook", but I'm sure that alot of people just want a boat that stays on the water and is reliable. Keys would be WAY down on my list of stuff to do.

Man - the longer I am here the more and more cig guys I see on the southside. I figured there were only 2 or 3 but obviously there are a lot more....

Hollowpoint 10-26-2007 02:31 PM

On the few poker runs I've been on in Tidewater (I'm an old timer and hate the term "Hampton Roads") I would guess there has been between 8 and 14 Cigs at each event.

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 10-26-2007 03:56 PM
