Understatement of the year, Jamie, but I understand what you are saying. Phil arranged for Tim to take us on a tour when we went to pick up our boat in April. It is definitely a palace. It's amazing to see the new facility compared to the old. Everything is state of the art and you can really see the time & effort that goes into producing these boats. Obviously the reason the quality is so evident in the finished product. In the rigging area there were about 4 pairs of 700's just waiting to be installed in their new homes. If I thought I could have just made it to my truck with a pair....:D:D

I stopped in last year and once I got by the security the tour was great . Bud spent 3 hours showing me around .
All the employees were very friendly taking a minute to say hello . I could tell how proud of the work they were doing .
Then Tim came by and did more of the selling part . But not with any pressure . I was another guy that visited Cigarette and left with a bunch of T shirts .

From what I gathered, there were some "sensitive" projects going on while we were there. Tim said there would be very few opportunities for pics so I basically left it in the bag while we were inside the plant. Didn't want to impose on the host. I think one of the things that was so impressive to me was the block sanding that each hull goes through when it comes out of the mold. Many manufacturers would take it from the mold to paint - not Ciggie. One of my friends who is a painter couldn't believe how straight my boat was. He knew how many man hours it took to get that hull slick and arrow straight. Details man, details.

Yes it is amazing how much time & effort ia required to do a good job.. Even though I run a Donzi, I always feel that the other Aronow creations like Cig that are still going are still "family".. :)

It is nice to see that some people understand & can see what they pay for in a good quality build or project, where ever it may be.. :) Jamie / Lakeside
