You guys just keep making it better and better. Impressive numbers for a battleship!

seafordguy 12-19-2007 07:45 PM

I concur - that is hands down the nicest looking Revo I have ever seen. What are you towing that with?? Please dear god, tell me that isn't an F250??

HabanaJoe 12-19-2007 08:00 PM

I have to agree that is one of the nicest Revo's ever, the paint just makes that whole boat!!

Hollowpoint 12-19-2007 09:34 PM

Really clean looking Revo. On the same subject, I have heard between 60 and 100 were made. Does anyone have an acurate number? If that many were made, why are they so rare? I have never seen on in person.

pm203 12-19-2007 10:43 PM

60-100 sounds very high.

carter38 12-19-2007 11:34 PM

Thats the best looking one I have ever seen.

yep , I thought it was less than 10

WildWarrior 12-20-2007 06:08 AM

That is one sharp looking ride!

Biggus 12-20-2007 06:13 AM

Very nice! Who did the paint? It really works well on that boat.

The Revo's are monsters. We had one up here for years, 1992 I believe, that had triple 588" 750 Hawks w/speedy III's. It would take some biiiigggg seas!!!! and still went @90

TeamSaris 12-20-2007 06:20 AM

Looks Awesome!

They rare because they are real expensive to power/maintain since most were triples that need big power to get moving.

RJATX71 12-20-2007 06:45 AM

Very Nice!!!

Interceptor 12-20-2007 07:28 AM

Nice boat. Saw you at the Indian River exit on I-75 this summer. Think you had pulled out of the gas station.

Looked good on Lake St. CLair this summer!

bshzba 12-20-2007 08:40 AM

I heard 68 of them were made. For 1990 to 1998. I will post some better pics when I can find them. thanks

MickeyBoy 12-20-2007 10:27 AM

Super !! I love it !!

Hollowpoint 12-20-2007 11:22 AM

68 Sounds too much of a coincidence. That's the exact same number as Bullets produced and does seem high, since I have seen several Bullets and almost every other Cig model. I've boated from Maryland to SC over the years and still haven't seen one.

pm203 12-20-2007 11:39 AM

I would think some where around 20?

HiPerf2000 12-20-2007 11:48 AM

Nice looking restore.

I know of 1 in my marina. twin setup.

I'm sure CB can answer this question.

Cigaretteman 12-20-2007 01:53 PM

I can count 15-20 here in Europe that I know of and I am sure I don't know them all. My guess would also be 50-60 made.

RARMSTRONG 12-20-2007 05:54 PM

Very nice. I think they only built them from 1990 to 1996. At an avg of about 15 a year and most of them went to Europe and the middle east. I believe they built about 15 a year. 1997 was the first year of the tiger. Cigarette put a flat deck on a revolution hull. It was the one with the green tiger stripes.

Comanche3Six 12-20-2007 06:13 PM

Excellent!

The Revoution was prone to porpoising from what I have heard. The Tiger bottom is the same as a Revoution? I didn't think straight bottom Tigers porpoise. Anyone know? Are both bottoms the same?

RARMSTRONG 12-20-2007 06:32 PM

They will porpois with triples at low speeds especially if the water is smooth because of all of the weight in the back, a little tab cures it. They level out really easy with a good chop in the water. They were the same bottom until they put a step under the it.

Thanks for the clarification.

P.S. That Revoultion is incredible. Absolutely beautiful re-do!!

PhantomChaos 12-20-2007 10:09 PM

Pretty nice for Cig........ :D

MF 12-21-2007 02:48 AM

We had one in our marine a few years back , original hard candy paint job with triples and 3A Drives. Sold to a german guy i think three years ago. Very strong and heavy boat (and the sound was reeeeally bad)

Cig did make a very small number of flat-deck boats they called "Evolution". The green-striped boat was the first factory-brochure boat when the Tiger was introduced.

Sea-Dated 12-21-2007 07:58 AM

Great looking re-do. That is a beast.

little 12-21-2007 09:55 AM

Def my favorite Cig made to date. I just love the two cockpit half canopies and how all the guages are stacked up in front of you like that. The three man stand/sit bolsters in the rear are sick to.
