The engines are 540's giving me 685hp. Merlin block and intake with aluminum heads for some high compression, dominator carbs and a mild cam. |

Screamineagle,
Hade the engines made, Mark Prinz in NC built them up to crate motor status. We were originally going for bigger HP but I decided that a milder cam and less HP would suit my needs. Then I had them shipped to Art Lilly's place were they were re-painted and dressed, they did an amazing job. The valve covers and flame arrestors were done by eddie marine after Fred at Trick told me he could not do it for me, thats who he use to get them from. A lot of custom and some nice equipment really made these engines. Check out the thermostat housing. |

The motors look sweet. Did you build them or have them done? :drink:

They are awesome motors. The power is great and the reliability should be there too. Great looking Cafe. Congrats

Scramer,
Art Lilly is doing the rigging and he thinks we should see 80 to 85. 85 was what I was looking for looking for a cruse speed of 60 or so. |
