Weight of a Cafe
 

This might be the first of many Cig questions for you guys. :party-smiley-004:

Whats a good avg weight for a Cafe w/ fluids, & some gear? Wanting to get an idea for towing & lift size required.

The owners manual for mine shows 9000lbs dry. I keep mine on a 14,000lb lift and it holds it great when full of gear and fuel. I would figure at least 12,500lbs or 13,000lbs when loaded up.

When you are doing the math, especially for towing purposes, be conservative and realistic. Don't forget all of the other things that probably aren't included in "dry-stock" weight figures that could potentially add weight to the boat - a couple superchargers add a couple hundred pounds, Sea strainers, Extra Batteries, Swim Platform, Hydraulic Steering, Tie Bars, Fuel could add as much as ~1500 pounds, another couple hundred for water, Covers, Anchors, Lines, Bumpers, Extra Set of Props, Tools, Cleaning Supplies, a full decantur set ;) . That is just stuff I can think of on Mine that might add a decent amount of weight to the dry figure. Not to mention a full steel trailer is probably 3000+ pounds; maybe closer to 3500....

That's just what goes through my head when I think about towing.

I keep mine on a 12,500 K lift.
I agree with Sea Dated....guessing about 11 to 12 K average weight with gear.
