I want to know more about replacing the compass with a GPS.

Cost, electrical, GPS antenna, which GPS unit did you use?

looks good. Looks like you added the accent stripes to the panel. What type of paint are you using for the job?

Clay its a gamin 168 the flush kit and external antenna are about $150 bucks. The rest is just your time a labor. To do it right you need to fill in some on the top or bottom or you will have a gap. I am replacing all the cables as well while its apart. I will post more pics as it goes back together if you like.

Hey Dustin,
Here is a link from when I did the same thing to my Bullet. The GPS install starts at the bottom of page 1. I wasn't aware that they had a kit....I fabricated it from Lexan...Old School style! P

PS- There weren't any gaps!

Yes, they make a flush kit that snaps it into place and out so you can take it with you if you like. The one we did if jeff's bullet the one in the had a little gap. Mine was going to be about a 1/4 inch on top or bottom so we just added to it and recut the whole deal. My panel never really fit to good so we added glass all the way around so it fits great now and all new holes to screw into will make it nice. I just welded up all the existing holes on the panel and started over.
