I think I see at least 2 Cigarette logos in the first pic. Are there more?

That pic was taken at the Jax Poker Run in 2005 I believe. I saw the boat in person and it looked cool but very small with the dozens of 38 TG's around that weekend.

Brandon, how did you change the pic from BMP to JPEG?

cuposterchild 02-26-2008 03:30 PM

That Mystique had red drives and tabs didn't it? Was a great looking boat

There was a 35' Playboy that was crushed around that time also, that might be the other boat you see

Perlmudder 02-26-2008 03:56 PM

That was my old boat, yes it was destroyed in Katrina. After the water went down someone completely stole everything for the motors to the steering wheel............

Scott, were you the original owner or did you buy it out of New Orleans?

I had my eye on that boat back in '03 when it was at Dick Simon Marine. It was a sweet boat and it did have red drives. What a shame it got thrashed.

Bingo Tank. Thanks H20!

(Once the "save as" window opens, click the lower drop down menu to select JPEG if you don't see it)

The boat came out of California, it had like 6 hours at the time I bought it. Then I sold it to Pete and that's when the storm destroyed the boat.

Sea-Dated 02-27-2008 03:52 PM

Great looking boat. Too bad it it went ou the way it did.

bmanafort 02-27-2008 07:57 PM

Nobody salvages the boat? The damage didnt look that bad. What happens to boats like that?

thisistank 02-27-2008 10:26 PM

Thanks for the info on the Jpeg/bmp thing you guys.

Yea, so where the hell is the boat now? I'm sure it wasn't cut up after it was damaged. It's got to be sitting in some yard stripped down and most likely f*cked up. It's out there somewhere.

yes, i was in venice , louisiana a couple weeks and there was what looked like a 28-30 foot hustler i think, outboard bracket, completley stripped and looked vandalized, was just laying on its side in a field with about a dozen other boats

Sydwayz 02-28-2008 05:15 PM

What's the beam on that boat? It might make a nice backyard pool if you cut out the stringers and floors. :D

Stick with the AT's on that. More freeboard so you can have a high dive.:evilb:
