38 Cig Ts 2001 Props ???
 

I Have A 2001 38 Ts Top Gun With 500 Efi No Extension Boxes With Lab 32 Turning 4900/5000 At 80 Mph.this Is How I Bought The Boat.i Think It Came With Lab 30's. Any One Have This Setup,what Are You Running?

labb 32s r too much prop... labbed 30 4b or a labbed 28/29 5b should do it... u need to get to 5100 rpm at least id think

I think it's 200 rpm's per pitch? Isn't it?
Try the prop slip program on BAM's website. It will help.

You need Brett @ Bblades to take a set of 30's and make them 31's. Then adjust them so the bow is carried a tad more. Should run 82 - 83 if the motors are strong.

Or try to have the 30's flat bladed and a small amount of cup removed.

Both of the above will likely be faster.

I have a perfect set of Merc Labbed 30s, and standard 30s if needed.

We have almost the same boat but it is a 02, with 500EFI with 28 s props that turn 5 200 rpm, & run 82 mph, gets on plane great !

Same with my 02 Playboy except i have hit 84 a few times
