Gladiater big water ???

Does the gladiater run better or as good in 3-5s as a top gun?? For some reason I am always going back and looking at a gladiater

I have owned both, The Glad does run as good in the rough as a gun. Its just a little different ride. Its a totally different feel sitting down and takes time to adjust to reading the waves from a different angle.

Let me put it to you this way. Phil is building himself a Cig to play with and to do poker runs with. As you know, he can have any Cig he wants and is going with a Gladiator with 700,s. What does that tell you?

The worst part of a Gladiator is the lack of a rub rail. Think of everytime you leave the boat your fenders have to be perfect, particularly if the waterway is busy. I had a buddy that had the boat touched up annually from all the scuffs.

Buy the right equipment and you never have to worry about that. I have 2-4' fenders and 2-5' fenders that work great. They are the inflatable kind

The boat is truly awesome once you get used to it. It will handle the rough stuff all day long and will run real fast with stock mild power. It is not a wave crusher like my Gun and Tiger were but, Im not burning up drives and motors now either

The lack of rub rail is no problem like Bob said if you have the right stuff and if you know what your doing. I would say the Gladiator doesnt ride as good as a Gun but its close. Id take the Glad, cause its a sit down. Once you sit down you will never want to stand again in any type of water. Our Gladiator is for sale if your interested. Its in the Classifieds.
