RE: Rookie needs advise ...HELP
Quesyion ...! ! What would be the real actual speed ...
For a Cigarette 35 Cafe Racer weighing 5511 Lbs , less engines and drives ,
Now with a pair of 502ci / 415bhp year 2000.. with Bravo 1 drives , i guess they weigh 2600 Lbs both of them ,
Total weigh of both & fuel being 8500 Lbs
what propellers would you take in consideration ???
to have a good speed .... with this set up . !
is it possible to reach 70mph ???..: with this set up or perhaps if i install extension boxes to lift the X-Dimension 1 inch ....can i reach my target
Whatever:
Thanks
Clyde

I replied in your General thread but I will here too. You aren't going to come close to 70 with 415's. I am surprised at the weight figures you came up with. Sounds LOW....
Someone else with more knowledge of props will have to comment on the props but I would guess a Bravo 24 would be a lot of prop for that setup - maybe even too much??
Also, are you suggesting that with full tanks and everything back together that boat will only weigh 8500 pounds?? Fuel itself will weigh upwards of 1500 pounds.

I can tell you this - behind the truck it sure as hell feels like 9400 PLUS fuel, gear, etc.....
23 P - yeah that probably makes more sense.
Either way I love my CAFE....you will too!

When did the Bravo's become the standard in Cafe's? That spec sheet if from at least a 1990 or newer.
