I used John Posey at Total Dollar.

1990 Cafe blown 502's. 26 year old Male No accidents no Tickets - he was about half the price of everyone else and good to work with.

Seems high for that boat. What insurer quoted you? How about you? Age, credit score, accidents/tickets? Agreed value? Recent survey?

You might also want to post in the Finance & Insurance forum- the sharks will be all over you!

I get aggitated at my state farm people everytime you post that:angry-smiley-038:

We switched everything to USAA - I need to see if they would write it now, and an umbrella to go with it.

That's who we used. He put us with Progressive. I think it's like 1500 a year. 1995 Gun, 525SC's and 3A drives, no layup agreed value 100k.

same here, our state farm agent wouldnt even insure a 99 29 outlaw w/ 454 mags. we have 2 cars, house (& even old boats) thru them, never a single claim or tickets. still no go.

total dollar i though doesnt go back beyond 10 yrs? or am i thinking of another company.

Funny thing is, State Farm would not insure my 29 Fountain with 454's but they did the Cig with 500's. We have house, cars, life, etc policies with them and I threatened to pull all of them if they could not cover it. Agreed value with recent survey and everything. I think we are paying like $1200 per year and it has been almost a year so I know it made it past the underwriters.

TopGun1 05-08-2008 08:22 PM
