What happened to one on the boat? There are some after market companies that make them

It was kind of cheesy. Looked almost home made.Took it off after I bought the boat and updated it and never got around to getting another one.

Ours was built by Kevin at west coast offshore.

He can CNC the name of the boat into the step if you wish and has a few different styles of steps.

He's built for lipship, Nor-tech, dragon, donzi and a bunch of west coast companies. His prices are very reasonable. Tell him Tank sent you. If he doesn't hang up on your immediately he may kick you down a little!

Well, 2600 isn't high if you've priced others;) Plus you have your pick from the original tubbed style Cig used to the newer oval style they're using.

I am not sure why it posted that twice. But anyways that boat was the reason I sold my Baja and bought a Cigarette. Charlie bought that boat new from Cigarette with his father hence the name 50/50 but after 2 sets of motors in 3 seasons his dad wanted out. He had lots of issues with the exhaust causing the motor failures. Cigarette stould behind the motors and changed the exhaust. Half of that boats life were in florida. I have been in that boat in big water and always felt safe. The notched transom was done after a forklift operator hit it with the fork. That boat has been center of some real good trips. It is nice to see it redone and ready for the next 20 years. Good luck!
